Lifestyle Changes

Unfortunately, there is no getting around the fact that if you want to improve your health and loose weight you need to implement a few lifestyle changes.

These changes are not to give your money to con artists telling you that you can eat all you want and more. All you have to do is pay them to send you frozen dinners that have less nutritional value than the box they come in. It's amazing what good advertising can make people believe.

Unfortunately, the lifestyle changes required for proper weight loss and disease prevention, requires real changes to a persons diet.

There is no getting around that fact, no matter how much some actor tells you differently on the TV or radio. If this were true then you would think that all the amazing diet and weight loss gimmicks that Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O spend so much of their show promoting would actually help them to loose the weight that they continue to put on!

The latest research shows that the longest living people in the world (which obviously means that they are healthy and don't have diseases) are those that have a calorie restricted diet. This means that as they age they consume less and less calories.

Most people eat more and more and do less and less as they age. They then wonder why they aren't able to do the things they did when they were younger and why the are aging so badly.

Eating unhealthy foods, in particular large amount of animal proteins, sugar, fats and processed foods contribute to being the most stessful, age promoting and disease causing thing we do to ourselves.

If you want to be healthy, disease free and the right weight, then you have to take responsibility for what you put in your mouth.

We can not judge people with addiction problems if we can not see that we are unable to maintain control of, or care about what we eat and drink.

We are all addicted to the junk we eat. We are all brain washed into thinking the food we eat is not junk. Just because it's advertised to us as food, we blindly accept that it must be healthy for us and that it is in fact food that is acceptable to eat.

When people can start to understand that obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancers and all the internal diseases afflicting society today are a direct result of the decades upon decades of feeding themselves garbage, then the solution to the problem is not that complicated.
